Dr Ethemcan Turhan

I am a postdoctoral researcher at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology) Environmental Humanities Lab, Division of History of Science, Technology and Environment in Stockholm, Sweden. I am also affiliated with ISSC T2S funded ACKNOWL-EJ project together with Boğaziçi University (Istanbul) team led by Prof. Begüm Özkaynak. I received my B.Sc. from Middle East Technical University, masters and Ph.D. from Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. My main research and advocacy interests are international climate change regime (UNFCCC), Turkey's national climate change policy, climate justice, energy democracy, environmental movements and migration in the context of climate change.
